Analogue HD CCTV
High definition 1080p CCTV is an excellent middle ground between Analogue and full IP megapixel CCTV. HD CCTV uses coaxial cable that has traditionally been used for Analogue CCTV systems, this means it offers a lower cost upgrade option for existing Analogue CCTV systems.
Our HD CCTV systems are capable of mixing and matching HD CCTV and Analogue CCTV cameras on one recorder, again further increasing the value for money when upgrading Analogue CCTV systems.

The main advance HD CCTV offers over analogue CCTV is the quality and definition of the image. The full HD 1080p recordings offer a far deeper image that is able to provide the clarity required for CCTV to be more effective.
You will find many analogue cameras quoting 600-700 TVL image quality, however most recordings are at far lower resolutions. This means the live images look reasonable but the recording quality is often very poor. The comparison image below shows the difference between the highest quality Analogue CCTV cameras available and our 1080p HD CCTV cameras.
It is also important to ensure all images are recorded at the same definition as the camera, all our systems are configured to record at the same image definition as the camera.
If you have the recording level at lower definition than the camera you will find you have the same issues as mentioned above, great live images but poor recorded footage.
We are specialists in the provision of HD CCTV, providing the latest technology and high quality equipment combined with our design and implementation experience provides an excellent solution for all our clients.
Benefits:
- Use existing Coaxial Cable infrastructure
- Retain Existing Analogue Cameras when upgrading
- Less cameras required to cover larger areas
- Rack Mount Standalone DVRs
- Advanced video management software linking multiple sites anywhere in the world

IP HD CCTV
IP Megapixel CCTV is fast becoming commonplace in many buildings throughout the world. Offering over 10x the image quality of analogue CCTV, even exceeding 1080p high definition video.
The main advance IP Megapixel CCTV offers over analogue CCTV is the quality and definition of the image. The Megapixel recordings offer a far deeper image that is able to provide the clarity required for CCTV to be truly effective. Do to the far more detailed images you will often find that less IP

Video Analytics
Our Video Analytics systems offer some very powerful features and allow huge improvements in efficacy and use of resource. Features such as line or boxed area people counting and crossing alarms, features which are implemented in many scenarios within a business premises. For example, a line can be drawn along a perimeter fence, if the line is crossed this will activate an alarm through to our ARC or alternatively an onsite guard, who can then monitor the situation.

Another excellent use of this technology allows retailers to asses footfall throughout their shop floor. Helping with tasks as simple as how many customers enter the store and help identify peak times, as well as eliminate dead spots and help drive customers to desired product. All of this can be controlled from the same remote software used to manage the CCTV system, controlling multiple sites from any location.

ANPR
ANPR technology has continued to expand in recent years, there are now a multitude of features available to clients to help control and record access in and out of their premises. Our ANPR cameras will initially capture and record an approaching vehicles number plate, from that point there are many actions that can be preformed. If the vehicle is authorised the ANPR system can send a signal to open an automated gate or traffic barrier, or in turn it can do the opposite and close an open gate, or do neither and instead alert a member off staff to the presence of an unrecognised vehicle. This logic can be followed right across a large site, granting automatic access to waste collection vehicles etc.

The ANPR system can also be used to record and manage company fleet vehicles, a roll call function can identify which vehicles are on or off the premises at any time.

Monitoring
What is Monitoring?
We connect your CCTV System to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), the ARC then receives any signal your CCTV System generates, such as an alarm trigger when the system is armed, or fault signals such as video loss, loss of connectivity etc. When the ARC receive a signal the operator will review the signal and take the appropriate action. If your CCTV System is armed and a detector is triggered, the system will send an alarm signal and footage from the appropriate camera, the operator will then review this footage. If the footage is deemed to require further investigation the operator will remotely connect to your CCTV System to view the live video streams. Should a trespasser be seen on the premises the ARC operator will issue an audio challenge, instructing them to leave immediately. Should the trespasser remain on the premises the ARC operator will inform the appropriate authorities including the local Police Force as required. Other signals such as video loss, or connectivity loss to your system can be reported in a variety of ways, such as informing your nominated keyholders by phone, email or SMS text.
Our monitoring systems are very secure and are available on a number of varied platforms, such as Single Path (Using your phone line, broadband or 3G/Sim Card) or Dual Path (Using a combination of two of the former options e.g. Broadband + 3G). We always recommend Dual Path as this is the most secure option. If your broadband is down then your signal will be passed to the ARC over the GPRS network. Our monitoring service is different from most services offered by other fire & security system providers. When your alarm is activated most intruder alarm monitoring services will just inform your keyholder that your intruder alarm has activated. Whereas our monitoring platform will pass a detailed message to the ARC, describing the cause of the activation. e.g. ‘Kitchen Window Sensor’ or ‘Landing Smoke Detector’. The operator can then pass on this detailed description to your keyholders, which is very useful when attending the activation. All our Monitoring services using our ARC are fully compliant with British and European Standards such as PD6662:2010, BS8243, EN50131 and BS5979.
What is Self Monitoring?
Self Monitoring is an exciting new service we launched in 2014, this service allows the client to monitor their system directly via our smart phone application, without the use of an ARC. We connect your intruder alarm to our servers and signals are passed directly to your smart phone. This system offers great features such as audible and visual alerts on your phone when the intruder alarm activates, arming/disarming of your intruder alarm, viewing the event log and many other features. Please take a moment to view the video demonstration below. We must stress this service is not a replacement for a full ARC Monitoring service, as detailed above. It is designed for those clients who would normally not consider Monitoring and only have an audible system.
Maintenance
Maintenance and system servicing are an essential element to any safety or security system. Without regular preventative maintenance the systems performance will be hindered and the system may fail when you need it most. All our engineers are provided with the most advanced test equipment on the market and work to the highest standards. They are trained to understand that the quality of their work is of the upmost importance. Our maintenance plans offer excellent value for money and second to none customer service. A current maintenance contract with an approved company like Protex is often a stipulation of many insurance policies, in turn many insurance companies offer a more cost effective policy for clients with a properly maintained system.
